Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your ToolXTool account at any time. During the beta period, deletion requests are processed manually by our team.

How to request deletion

Email us from the address associated with your ToolXTool account:

support@toolxtool.com

Include in your email:

  • Your name and the email address on your account
  • Your organisation or workspace name
  • Whether you want to delete only your user account, or request deletion of the entire organisation/workspace

User account deletion vs organisation deletion

User account deletion removes your personal account and profile from ToolXTool. Other members of your organisation will retain access to the workspace and any data you contributed to it. Your personal data (name, email, authentication record) will be removed from active systems.

Organisation deletion removes the entire workspace, including all assets, bookings, materials, history, and member records. Organisation deletion can only be requested by an owner or administrator of that organisation. A regular team member cannot delete an organisation.

Data retention after deletion

Following a deletion request, your personal data will be removed from active systems. Some records — including audit logs, backup snapshots, and security-related events — may be retained for a limited period for operational and security reasons before being permanently deleted. We will confirm the expected timeline when we process your request.

Processing time

Deletion requests during the beta period are processed manually. We aim to confirm receipt within one business day and complete the deletion within seven business days.
